Victoria's career journey
Victoria has been part of the Brunswick team for a little over two years. She joined after working for a couple of other social care establishments. "I started working in care when I left school at 18. I didn't want to go to University and wanted to help others, so care seemed like a good place to start," she says.
Her first job was with a local senior citizen's home, near her parent's house. "The people were very nice there," says Victoria. "But I didn't feel challenged and it was a family run business. So after a few years I realised there was never going to be any role for me to progress into."
